Skinks keep crawling into my garage. How do I get rid of them without using poisons or traps?

Hi Mary, sorry, I was mistaken and thought there may have been a typo of skinks rather than skunks, you can try this

Do this every 1-2 months to control insects which skinks eat. The goal here is simple: by taking away skink food, they won't want to live around your home. Next, after the Cyonara treatment dries (which should only take 30-60 minutes), apply PEST RID GRANULES and PEST RID SPRAY

by taking away skink food, they won't want to live around your home-by keeping the bug population to a minimum--Diet. Garden skinks feed on larger invertebrates, including crickets, moths, slaters, earthworms, flies, grubs and caterpillars, grasshoppers, cockroaches, earwigs, slugs, dandelions, small spiders, chaparras, ladybeetles and many other small insects, which makes them a very helpful animal around the garden. They eat everything nobody wants around Do they creep you out? if not leave them they will irradicate pests you really don't want in garage.otherwise you'll need to use some type of pest control to be rid of what they are catching and eating. I'd let them do the job Mother Nature intended.

O K I love mother nature ! When I move I will miss watching the birds (especially the humming birds, many cardinals, wood peckers and blue birds, the rabbits and their babies, squirrels and their funny little babies, and the turtle dove pairs and the chipmunks. Have woods behind my house and lots of plants and trees. Haf five deer in my yard at the same time a few weeks ago. So much to see out the patio door. My go to quiet place.

  • They are so cute, why would you want to be rid of them? As Lynn stated, they feast on all sorts of other undesirable pests in your garden. If they are getting into your garage, walk around and perform an inspection to see where they might be coming in and then plug up those holes. Then they will be out in the yard where they should be. Just this evening I fed a few of the lizards that have taken up residence in my back yard. I gave them blueberries and raspberries as a treat.
