How do I get rid of spider webs?

We are plagued with spider webs outside and inside year round. Is there a non-toxic way to not only get rid of them but keep spiders away?

I promise I am not being a *smart azz*, but until all spiders are gone - you can't : (
I have found an amazing product *no, not the bug man* at Home Depot...
It's made by Ortho - it's called HOME DEFENSE....No Spiders/or Webs anywhere - this can be used both inside and outside - I keep this in stock in my home.
ps...it's unscented and honestly works better than my Pest Control Service
    Good Luck : )
pss...be sure to sweep down any/all webs that you see

If you want to keep spiders out of your home, use 2 drops of lemon oil on a broom head covered with pantyhose & wipe it backwards & forwards with your hand. Or you can use a lemon. The oil is in the lemon skin, so you don't need to cut it. Rub it firmly across the bristles of the broom, That's enough lemon oil to get rid of all the webs.
