On the outside of my porch you can't sit without bees attacking.

I had actually saw if you take a small paper sandwich bag fill it with the plastic grocery bags. Tie the top with string and add a loop on it. Hang it on your porch. The wasps and bees think it is a hornets nest and they stay away. I actually have 1 by my front and back door...AND IT WORKS!!!! I use to have a ton of wasps by my back door and since I put up the paper bags I don't even see any fly by.

though not the cheapest way to do it but it IS the most effective, have the hive removed & wherever the hive goes, the wasps will follow. So if the hive gets tossed in a burning pit (fire already going), they will usually follow....or at the very least, find & new place to build another hive...and once again, the porch is all yours! After you remove the hive, and the wasps are all gone, there is a fake hive you can buy to put in its place....the manufacturer claims that this fake hive will keep other wasps from building near the fake hive. Does it work? I have no idea since I have never needed one nor had a problem with wasps/hornets/bees.

We have to remove nests regularly as my husband is very allergic - not a fun drive to the hospital. We buy commercial insecticide for this specific purpose and apply it at night when they are inside and there is no activity. It's effective and we have removed nests up to basketball size.

Get wasp and hornet spray. Wait until night when they go into their nest, are very inactive and spray them. Use quite a lot of the spray.

Suspend glass jars half filled with water and put a few pennies in the bottom of the jars. Apparently it keeps flies, bees etc away by distorting their view.

I read recently what Joyce said about the paper bag....you can also buy a fake Hornets nest on Amazon or check it out to get an idea of how to make!
