moth balls - scatter them around the area. Replentish as they melt.
There is a professional product called "Animal Be Gone" by Ortho that helps as well.
Move to Ireland!
Personally I would leave it there. There must be a good reason for it to be there and that reason might just be protecting your home from rodent invasion. The snake is most likely as afraid of you as you must be of it but set that aside and enjoy a mouse free home. JMO :) (info given to another 🐍 question as well)
If your yard is fenced, install "snake fencing."
