The leaves turn yellow then die...I've used insect spray for roses but doesn't seem to help?

I have only been able to use Sevin Dust to rid mine. The spray didn't work. Dust the bush with the powder on a day that isn't expecting any rain and doesn't have high winds. After one dusting mine clears up but I follow up again in about a week after the first one. Hope that helps.

thanks for your advice. Never heard of Sevin Dust but will certainly find it asap.

from the remarks I've read, it seems to do the trick with more than just roses. So pleased with your quick response!

Your problem could also be snails! They ate my hibiscus bush to almost sticks. The plant guy at. Lowe's took one look at the stem I brought in and determined it was snails. One application watered well and they are gone and my plant is healthy again! Good luck.

No snails that I have seen....however I will be on the lookout .

i have something (on the other side of my home), my Hostas are being chewed

up also but with a different kind of insect, not used to raising flowers and plants in this State. Lots to learn....

Plant garlic next to your roses. Always works for me. And no it doesn't make your roses smell like garlic
