How do I safely kill English Ivy?
My landlord planted Enligh Ivy as a ground cover, not knowing how is grows and strangles trees. It is out of control. How can I create and effective household solution to kill it without harming other plants and pets?

Hi Debra. I would cut as much of it back as you can. Then dump boiling water on it. Last I would cover it with black plastic or fabric to make sure it gets killed off. Good Luck!
