Is Creeping Charlie in your lawn a good thing or a bad thing?
Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
My neighbor took all the rocks in her yard and laid them flat on the ground and covered them all but an inch or so with soil. Then she planted couple of those shallow setppables plants and they took off making it so pretty, and NO WEEDS!
i like wood chip paths......land scaping fabric under the chips after the grass is dead. easy to maintain....wood chips are readily available, and they will break down to feed the soil. and if you accidentally hit it with a lawn mower - no flying rock.
Whatever you decide to put down, be it pavers, mulch or stones, put down either the fabric or plastic to inhibit the weeds from growing through. I agree with Dfm, wood chips would be the easiest to maintain and not worrying if some escape the path. They will need to have more put down as they break down, but is more natural looking and worry free.
