    1. don't chop it up. It will then sprout new plants from every tiny chunk of root.

    2. use of selectively-applied RoundUp.

    3. . Persistence, persistence, persistence. Pull it whenever you see it. It's ideal to dig out the roots, but they break easily and it's impossible to get them in dry soil. Just by sheer biology, if you always pull off the leaves at the top, the root will eventually not have enough energy to try again (or so I like to believe).

    Goodluck!!!

I have had some luck with a dandelion digger. Hopefully with out the leaves they will die off. I will try some round-up on some.

BE PERSISTENT,,,, I had them 4 inches think UNDER black plasic and bark in the last house I was in.. Took out 4 pick up loads.... KEEP digging out EVERY bit as it comes up.. it will take a year maybe two.. Round-up is non selective, everything it touches it kills.. harmful to the bee population, but once in a while Its my go to solution

I will try round-up on some of them, but some are mixed in the with the flowers. I have a bee, butterfly, humming bird flower bed

I am pretty sure you would have to dig up the roots and all.
