Baking powder or cornstarch in all the seams and crevices can help, not cedar shavings or cedar sawdust is the best. 😀

I forgot to mention insects ALL love cornstarch and flour. Its whats in the paste on the back of wallpaper.Alot of folks use wallpaper to line shelves and drawers not realizing that silverfish love that paste and paper to.You don't want to attract them and so masterfully feed them their favorite food ! ?

To speed up these management strategies, add a few traps into the mix. You can buy small packets designed to trap and poison silverfish with boric acid.

Hide them in places where you’re likely to encounter the creepy crawlies, like bookshelves, dresser and desk drawers, under the sink, and in the basement and attic. Note that boric acid can be toxic if swallowed, so keep the traps where kids and pets can’t get to them and away from where you store food.
