How to get rid of grass in a flower bed without killing the plants
Hi I would like to know how to kill grass in flower beds without harming the plants. The plants are perennial and the grass is pasture.

Also, just keeping it mowed short helps a lot. When we let ours grow, they're everywhere! When we keep it short, we hardly see any.
Catching the clipping help also.
What helped us was killing all the grass in the winter. What we did was in the winter we used weed killer and sprayed the whole yard with it, we just did the front. Through out the winter it killed everything because it was dormant anyway, but come spring the grass is green and lucious. The grass came back but the weeds are gone. In the mean time when the grass is mowed we use a grass catcher on the mower to catch all the weed clipping and that helps tramendously. We can't spray the back yard cause the pets eat the grass and we dont want to hurt them. But that seems to be helping with the weeds using the catcher on the mower out back.
