Pick up their poo and bury it (not very deep -- just a few inches) around the bed. They will not dig up their own poo.
Sprinkle cayenne pepper
Mix a solution of hot peppers and water to spray the area. Dogs do not like the smell.
Most dogs dig out of boredom, or to get to a neighbor dog. Give your dog something better to do, and bury his scat in the hole he digs and cover it lightly. He won't want to dig there again!
Train your dog (s), plain and simple. It is a dogs instinct to dig. Chances are they are bored and need far more exercise. Here are some fantastic tips!

I have 6+ dogs in my yard everyday and they have all been taught not to dig. They all get regular exercise too, be it long walks, run on the beach, playing ball in the yard, something.
