Can you cover the patio furniture with crinkly things like newspaper that the wouldn's like to lay on.
That may be hard to do, perhaps if you have some old sheets you could cover the patio furniture with them and you can take them off in the morning. If you don't have anything to cover them with, you could go to Salvation Army and get a few really cheaply there.
Hi Years36,
As a general rule, cats go where they want to go. LOL Having said that, Gk's idea of putting something crinkly on top of the chairs could help. Also, cats do not like the scent of citrus or vinegar, so it might help to put orange or lemon peels on top of the newspaper or spray the area with vinegar before you go to bed at night. The link below is about keeping cats out of a garden, so if you could plant some of these plants either around your patio or in containers it might help keep them away. Wishing you the best.

Cover the furniture at night with a black vinyl cover or turn the furniture upside down at night.
