How do you permanently deter cats from urinating in my flowerbed??

I sprinkle cayenne pepper on the ground around my flowers and shrubs (being mindful of their roots underneath), but after it rains, my flowerbed becomes the neighborhood feline urinal again!

Bring out copious amounts of cat food on the flowerbeds right after the next rain. Cats don't pee (or poo) where they eat . Good Luck!

Good idea - but you'll also draw vermin in - raccoons, possums, coyotes, rats, mice... what about mothballs ?

Live trap. Give cat free ride to a good humane organization. Repeat.

We have to pay a fee for every cat we take to the shelter.....$40......

The smell of an orange peel is offensive to cats. Cut up the peel into strips about 1/8" wide and various length. Also include a few bigger sections. You will need to supplement the treatment couple times each week. After a while, about 1 month, the cats will find another place. It worked for us. Good luck.

We also had a cat potty spot next to our front door. We tried pepper, etc. We sprayed for weeds, put down a weed barrier and put river rock down. No more cats. We put out flowers in pots further away from the house.l
