Are you kidding? I’ve seen them slither right up my outside walls faster than I would have thought possible.
They can climb vines, shrubs, trees rock walls they are just one big muscle. It's either chasing food or trying to get to sunnier location to get warm. Do you know what kind of snake(s)? if you aren't sure stay away from them/it could be Cotton Mouth,Rattler, something else poisonous. Where do you live? call local reptile store or pest control company for contact of someone who does removal of snakes. did not get your whole question. please Do not use glue traps besides being extremely cruel you still have to pick it up to remove it(not safe)and snake can remain alive long long time until it dies of dehydration;also if it's poisonous it can really hurt you, well kill you,& snakes that aren't poisonous still can bite you.maybe you should keep it around after all they eat mice, rats, gophers chipmunks, moles, voles
Agree. Identify. If non-poisonous let them be. Poisonous - get pro to trap and release somewhere far away.
Thank you , one was poisoners, copperhead two got away from pool company. The others were water and different species garter snake. The pool company on their next visit found an eight foot long water snake. I believe when they shocked the pool the chemicals killed the snake. Because of the copperheads they will not be returning. I really don't blame them. I am very ill with ms but I am going to do my best to find a snake catcher Thankyou everyone for your help.
If your yard is fenced, you can install snake fencing and coyote rollers. Snake fencing prevents them from gaining access from underground. Coyote rollers can prevent the snakes from climbing over walls, fences or gates. I deal with rattlers all the time.
