    Hi, Marga,

Spiders dislike orange and peppermint. Wash areas with orange or peppermint scented cleaners.

Vacuum all baseboards, interiors of all closets, basement floors, walls, ceilings, and beneath stairs. Vacuum all exhaust fans, window sills, door and window frames.

Check weep holes in windows to make sure spiders aren't making webs/laying eggs there. Push a pipe cleaner or similar through the weep holes to clear out the holes.

If you have vinyl clad windows, wash sills with small amount Dawn dish liquid in warm water.

Check for tiny openings around electric and water lines where they can enter from outside.

Outdoors, spray Ortho bug killer ready to use, around entire perimeter of your home.

Rake up leaves and leaf litter under flowers.

Keep mulch 2' away from your foundation.

Take your baby to the Dr.

  • Hi Marga - We use this spray in conjunction with our swiffer and it helps to keep spiders and other buggies at a minimum. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

A tip for spraying outdoors.. While you are spraying the parameter of your home, don't JUST spray the bottom of the house. Make sure you spray no less than 3 feet UP all the way around. Yuppers, it does use more spray and yuppers, it does cost a little bit more. BUT... I only have to spay my home 3 times a year. And I live in Florida!! Spraying 3 feet up keeps out anything that jumps and crawls!!.

    Just an idea.
