How to get rid of ants?

Ruthie with how dry and hot it was around here just about everyone I know (including us and where I work!) had a crazy ant problem. For us we just put out little terro ant baits and that took care of the problem. Here's some more help!

It's the season for them, go to a diy store and get a bottle of Terro, they come in 1 & 2 oz sizes, follow the package direction. It is in the pest control section.

Optigard. Hands down the best product on the market. Buy on Amazon. 24 hours ants are gone. Ignore all of the comments you get about spraying them with homemade concoctions, you are only killing the worker ants. You need to kill the queen and Optiguard clear gel does the trick in NO time with a few tiny dots of clear gel. The Terro traps take forever to work.

Sprinkle Diatomaceous earth at all entrances and any where you see them around the baseboards.

Hello. I highly recommend the commercial products made by Terro. If you look over at the reviews and QA on Amazon and see how highly rated the traps are.

I have been using them both indoors and outdoors - and been very successful in my overall situation. Additionally- I sometimes do an exterior Home defense foundation perimeter type product as well for spiders. Hope this helps.

You can sprinkle boric acid (powder) all over your carpet. Just ensure that it really gets in there and all around. Leave the Boric acid overnight.
