You need to apply/or hire a company to apply pest control granules to kill the grubs in your lawn which is the main food source of moles. Safe to do even with pets.

If you can find their tunnel opening, put moth balls down it and cover with a large rock for a few days.

Windmills. The little decorated objects that have a wheel that spins in the wind. They create a vibration under ground and moles don't like it.

Moles we eating our garden, the roots. We put up several of these and they moved to another part of our field but they don't bother our garden. No wind? Use a fan. Good luck.

Although moles like to eat grubs, using a chemical control against grubs won't work for mole control because the pest's diet also includes earthworms (which are good for your soil) and other insects. Avoid using insecticides on lawns, as it may kill beneficial insects.

PLEASE, Do you hate your neighbors??? Anything to get them to leave, and not kill them, is pretty un fair to your neighbors.

Hi, thanks! I want to kill the moles but some people don't like that wording....we have 25 acres but have only 5 acres of grass. We are surrounded by farmed acreage of wheat and cannola. Our closest neighbor is over 2 miles from us. Just an FYI...

Hi there, moles don't like the smell of Castor Oil. Make sure to get it in granular or liquid form, not the stuff you buy at supermarkets. It's not strong enough and sprinkle it around the area.

The moles are likely eating insects- grubs in your soil.

I would love to find a solution too! I’ve tried to Tomcat trap and the Sweeney worms and they both didn’t work for my troubles. Some have suggested to get a cat - or- eliminate the grubs in the soil.

In master gardener classes the expert lecturer commented there are four possible solutions, get a cat, get rid of the grubs, get a trap or live with them.

Sorry to say I can say I've have not found my answer to eradicate these pests.

Heres a link with some information and suggestions.

Good luck in your search for a solution!

Hi! It's a gross method but worked for us. My husband would put used cat litter in each hole and cover it with dirt. It did work. They make animal scents of other predators, so that might work as well. Good luck!
