My Mom used to use moth balls or crystals. Close up area for a few days and it may drive them away. Of course the odor will do the same for you, open windows! Call a pest control company and ask, there are cedar sticks-blocks that also work, Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc. carry them. Google It. Good Luck

@Shirley Never knew about the cedar blocks...I will try them, thank so much They make moth crystals in unscented form. I used them out in my shed to keep out bugs and it worked.

do you have wallpaper in that room. I'm told that silverfish eat the wallpaper paste. Could be if you remove the paper they'll be starved out

You can buy a product to get rid of silverfish. I had them in my basement for a while. You need to go to an old-fashioned hardware store. They will have them. There is no odor.

Silverfish paks are available in most garden or hardware shops. Works well. Do check old books, scarp books, etc, they love that. Place paks near those areas

@Irene Thank Irene, I will check out those places. BTW, I have some old books on a bookshelf in another part of my house, so I don't think that is the problem
