Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
Try Preen. I have had good luck with it in flower beds. Read the instructions carefully!
Book a gallon of water with 2-3cups of salt and pour it over the weeds mostly at the roots. You can also boil vinegar .

Try weed & Feed.
Unfortunately, anything that will kill a weed will kill the grass. Your best option is to dig them up, or use hot white vinegar, wait a couple weeks and reseed where the grass died
Preen Weed Preventer does not kill weeds, but will prevent weed seeds from germinating. There are weed killers out there that will not hurt your lawn, just read the package. There is even one that has a spray and foam function that helps target the weed better with the foam. The Preen Weed Preventer would be too expensive to put on a lawn, but works real well in the garden for seed born weeds only. Root born, like Creeping Charlie have to be pulled or dug to get all the roots. There are lawn friendly ones out there, you just have to look.
Thank u all!
