How will vinegar and salt kill weeds and not my grass ?

    The vinegar/salt combination kills all, it can't determine the difference between weeds and grass or plants. You can do things to protect your plants and grass like cover them so the mix does not touch them.

    That mixture will kill everything. You need to control the spray to keep it away from grass. I do use it in my flower beds with mulch. It kills the mushrooms

    Hi Judy, hope this helps you out, this mixture will kill everything so make sure you only put it on the weeds only. If the weed is in the grass and hard to reach, try trimming the grass to expose the weed, then spray the weed only, you could also use a small paint brush to carefully apply it to weeds in the grass.

    one cup of salt, one tablespoon of dish soap, and one gallon of vinegar, pour into a spray bottle and spray on weeds, be careful nit to get it on plants you want to keep.

    Only spray it on the weeds it will kill the grass .
