I have a vine that is taking over, what can I use to kill it?

    Have you tried a mixture of vinegar and salt?

      yes didnt work I have dogs so I have to be careful what I use, I have pulled it out by hand for the last to summers and it comes back.Stems are thick and got stuck on my lawnmower blades

    Cut it at the ground, pour some brush killer right on the stump and cover it with a pot.

    Try to find the root and chop it up. The rest will die.
    i had one around my Spruce trees, and I tried that method, but unfortunately
    the roots grew all along the vine. It is similar to the vine you find in Alabama that
    grows throughout the trees along the highways. It will virtually take over in
    abundance, almost scary! Fortunate for me, I moved.
