Get a box of Jiffy Cornmeal mix from your local store, do not bake it.

Sprinkle it on your yard where you see the activity, or around your house where you see evidence of them. It literally destroys them.

Terro is another great product available at DIY stores, put drops of it on the enclosed cardboard, they love it and take it back to their colonies, It may take several application to do them in.

  • UGH! I can't even imagine. You may need more drastic measures for an infestation, but if you treat the source of the line, it will definitely help. Here's what we use and it works well. Good luck! Hugs, Holly

Go to the store and buy several boxes of Jiffy cornbread mix, open and spread it where the ants are outside. It will destroy them.

Also, inside you can use a product called Terro-a liquid that they love and take back to their colony-this will work more slowly than the Jiffy, so expect to give repeat applications on the cardboard provided. You can put the Terro in the parade pathways outside, be aware it will wash away in rain.

I found a mixture on pinterest that worked wonders on my ant problem. It contained sugar, borax and water and soaking cotton balls. Got rid of the ants in my house in no time and they stayed gone all season. It also worked in my flower bed when I discovered myself standing on an ant home. They're gone now... Good luck.
