Is there a non-toxic way to keep mosquitoes, chiggers and ticks away?

    For mosquitoes- try growing or sprinkling garlic- they hate it!
    For chiggers-sprinkle around nemotodes or sulfur

    WalMart carries (or did) a product called ELIMINATOR in the garden section. You spread around your yard and it kills fleas etc and keeps dogs clear.

    Natural tick spray: 20 drops of Lemon Grass Oil, 20 drops of Eucalyptus Oil & 4 oz. of water, mix in a spray bottle & spray the areas where you find the critters...but I recommend starting at your front/back door & porch areas to keep them from fleeing into your home to get away from the spray; repeat as often as necessary. NOTE: It should work on all these insects...we don't have chiggers here...so those I don't know about.
