The best product to use for bug bites is Calamine Lotion. Apply it with cotton balls and try not to scratch it. Another way to calm the itching is to take an oatmeal bath. It's not the oatmeal you eat for breakfast. You will find this oatmeal in the pharmacy department of your local department store. Best of luck to you. And remember don't scratch.

Put petroleum jelly over the bites, or a cream with 5% lidocaine to stop the itching. If you have a tick, carefully remove it or visit your doctor to remove it. Search for others. If West Nile or another dangerous line of mosquitos or ticks or something has been found in your area, do not fail to wear insect repellant, sunblock (while you’re at it), and check for ticks and bites every time you get back in. They live to nest in warm damp places, so emphasize looking in all those places if you or someone else is still itching after a couple of days. Best wishes ☺️
