Keep your room clean and be sure to vacuum under bed. Be very weary of bringing used furniture into your home. Usually they travel with them, especially mattresses.

Do you have bed bugs now?

Honey, they are not that hard to get rid of, really. My friend once had a problem with them. She called me in the middle of the night crying that her son was being bit by something in bed. This is what we did.

I told her to buy a bomb, and set it off at night, when the bed bugs feed. Be sure to stick a towel under door so fumes don't leave the room. Vacuum thoroughly after the bombing. Take the vacuum outside to throw what you collected away. And wash out the canister thoroughly.

Then in the morning we both put on some gloves and used a strong mixture of bleach and water and started spraying the mattress, mostly in the seams, where they like to hide. You could see the feces that they had left. We turned the mattress over and did the same. Spraying all the seams. We then scrubbed away the yucky stuff.

Then, we set off another bomb, just to make sure. She vacuumed the room again, cleaned the canister outside, then vacuumed the whole house.

      No more bed bugs.

Stop worrying honey, just be careful what you bring inside the home. They love to hitchhike.

What kind of bugs? If they are stink bugs, you do not want to vacuum them up. If you do, you will have to replace your hoses and filters.

Or call a service. I can tell you horror stories. I know someone that lost all their beds and upholstered furniture.

Someone in my office building brought them in, had to close an entire high rise office building down. It was BAD.

I have heard the diatemaceous earth works ! It is all natural safe to be used around kids and pets. Look it up and find the directions on using it to get rid of her bugs ! Good luck !

You're best to have someone in to spray if possible, but you can help start the process by putting mattress covers on all beds (box springs aswell) and you can use 90% rubbing alcohol to spray if you see any, it will kill them instantly but will not prevent more from coming

I highly recommend having a professional in to spray

Hot Shot has a spray that works. Start at top of room and work down. Surprising things you never know is they crawl up the walls. They also hide inside electric sockets and switch plates. Tape up the sides to keep them inside. And a good set of bags to put mattress and springs in. Before zipping them shut give a couple of sprays inside. We had the pros in and that didn't seem to help at all. Don't forget to wash and dry everything you can get in the washer...HOT water.
