Is there any home remedy to get rid of pesty flies? I can't swat with fly swatter because of limited hand function.

Hi Dorene, a bowl of apple cider vinegar and a few drops of dishwashing liquid will attract the flies to one area. If you place a piece of cling wra on top of the bowl with a few small holes, the flies will investigate and become ctrapped. Here's a video with this and a few other ideas that may help you rather than killing each fly individually. Good luck!

If these are fruit flies that have been driving you bonkers. I put a piece of decaying sweet fruit on a cardboard sticky from Walmart. Fruit flies love this and land never to be airborne again.
Hi! I keep a small open jar filled with water, apple cider vinegar and a squirt of dish detergent near my sink. If you mean larger flies, how about a fan blowing on you? It even works outside! Stay safe!
Hello are you speaking of houseflies were fruit flies or drain that? Where is the machine could be helpful. For household flies There is the old fashion sticky tape traps which is always an option but it is an unsightly one..
We are having the worst season for flies in Australia right now and I have tried so many products bought and homemade. The only one I found works is the fly bait bottle. They look terrible but the work so well. The only down side is the smell so bad when you empty them.
or Hi, Dorene,
Buy a Fly Spray, or fly papers or Fly Zapping Machine that plugs in. Best wishes. Home remedy would be strong smelling things like Lavender, Rosemary etc.

In my old house, I use fly strip hung from the ceiling. In one of my clients houses who has flies congregate on the windows, they make a clear fly strip you put right on the glass, works great and peels right off, flies and all.
