OH Barb I do fel for you! (and Hello) I live in a home that was built in the early 1890s. It seems like every few years there is something new to battle and then we find something that needs repairing/replacing. Stink bugs seem to be impervious to ANYTHING we've tried. When I see one on the wall or curtains I get a folded piece of kleenex (or bathroom tissue paper if any is handy), folded the tissue around the bug, put it in the toilet, quickly close the lid, and flush it away. We have been working on sealing up any cracks in the walls, ceiling, window frames, etc. Lots of work and maybe SOMEDAY we wont see them INSIDE anymore. They love old wood, decaying wood, being in and around trees, so keeping yard debris out of the yard helps to keep them in the trees when the weather is warm, instead of in the debris. And when it gets cold they like a warm place to live (like every living thing). The warmest place in a house is usually the attic (oh I don't want to go in there LOL which is where I probably SHOULD go asap) . Well here is a weblink that I am sure will help you get rid of them and tell you everything you need to know about the dreaded Stink Bug ;)

Is there a picture of the insects in question?
Thank you for the compliment, and I hope I was right ... I actually saw the words "stink bugs" instead of "insects" but after seeing your comment I rechecked the question and saw that the words "stink bugs" was indeed not there at all! WOW, how DID I know that's what she meant? IS that REALLY what she meant? LOL ... at htis point, I hope so ;) Have alot of fun this summer and make it bug free :)
