This time of year...ANTS! Non toxic pesticides that work?
I’m spraying inside & kitchen area so don’t want harsh chemicals.

Hi Peg,
Nice to hear from you with a question.
What you do is go to the store and buy a box or 2 of Jiffy cornbread mix, do not bake it. Just open and sprinkle it outside where they are coming, in your case the kitchen. Sprinkle outside the kitchen wall. They will love it and take it back to the colony. 1-2 days and no more problem.
If you would like to treat indoors, go to the DIY store and get a product called Terro. Place several drops on the cardboard provided, they will take this back to the colony. This may take longer though.
Hi Peg - I feel your pain! This is the most effective non-toxic ant spray that we use. Good luck! Hugs, Holly

I find their entrance point along the baseboard in my kitchen, and line it with cinnamon. I fold a piece of foil in half with the cinnamon (slides off of the foil better than paper), to distribute the cinnamon in a thin line and use an old gift card to push it into the baseboard and make sure there are no gaps. It has completely resolved my problem.
