You can remove aphids by a strong spray from the hose that will knock them off. You'll have to hand pick the beetles off and drop them in some soapy water to kill them.
Use Bayer 3-in1 granules!
Spray with dish detergent and water. Make sure you get the underside of the leaves coated also. Works great on roses.
