We have deers eating the bottom of our cedar trees. What to do?

Does anyone have ideas on ways to camouflage the bottom of a cedar tree?

try wrapping it in chicken wire. Makes it a bit harder to nibble on.

There is deer replent, you can buy, that you can spray the bottom of the tree, without damaging the tree.
Also use pieces of Irish Spring soap in cheesecloth or old nylons. Cut into chunks put in nylon tie to fence. They do not like the smell of it. Does work.
