If you have a lot of deer, this will be a constant battle. In my old yard they never touched a boxwood of any variety, daffodils, and other plants that you can find on lists for your zone. They will eat things like roses and hollies, which you would think they would leave alone, but no, they love them. The only holly I found they would not eat is an Amerian Holly, which gets quite big. Favorites--hostas, daylillies, most annuals, and azaleas were all eaten down. Smelly herbs and marigolds were left alone. In our new house, I am trying hard to not plant things they like. There is so much information on the net about how to deter deer. Reading this information will keep you busy for years if you have deer in your yard!
Look it up on the internet, ask your phone or call your local cooperative extension. ..
