What are the flowers that are deer resistant?

      hi hillela well, they just ate my neighbors marigolds that she just put in. what about hydrangeas

    I have had good luck with peonies, lavender, and mint .

    The ones that smell terrible to them(and me) such as Marigold, Geranium,Rosemary, Mint ....you get the idea?

    They also don't eat daylily, catmint, pulmonaria, bleeding heart. And ditto on the peonies and lavender.

      Hi, Marcie,

      In S.W. PA, daylilies are in the "preferred" list for deer, so it's probably true that what's avoided by deer in one region may not hold true everywhere.

      Using Liquid Fence concentrate will save many flowers, but given deers' appetite for new buds of daylilies, it still requires almost daily application of garlic and rotten egg sprays.
