You can mix a couple drops of dawn, some red pepper flakes, and water in a bottle. Shake it all up well, let it sit for about a day while the flakes seep, then pour into a spray bottle using a strainer to get the pepper flakes out. Spray it on your hosta leaves either early in the am before the sun hits them or in the evening. If you don't have red pepper flakes, you can use hot sauce instead. No need to let that seep or strain.

Is there another way I could use? Thank you for your answer.
You can either purchase slug bait or lay down some crushed egg shells. You can also use the 40 parts water to one part dish liquid, spray on, leave 10 minutes, and then hose off again.
