What can I spray on my indoor plants to kill the small bugs on them?

I have tried the vinegar in a bowl covered with saran wrap with holes poked into it and never got one bug or gnat. Any other ideas from you smart indoor gardeners?

i have read and used 70% rubbing alcohol. Try spraying it on a small area as all plants react differently

Many of the small insects on house plants will not survive just regular dish washing soap. I have often just ran the water in my sink and put in an extra amount of hand dish washing soap (not dishwasher) and then stirred it to create as many bubbles as I could and then set the plant in the sink and divered as many of the leaves, and the dirt, with bubbles and just let it sit. A large plant one could do in the bathtub.

you could maybe take them outside and just wash them with water. It depends on the indoor plant but it may help with some.

Spray water mixed with dish washing liquid. Preferable Dawn.

I use dish washing soap in a spray bottle. Works like a charm.
