Sprinkle diatomaceous earth in your garden. You'll have to repeat after each rain.
It's hard to keep them out, but diatomaceous earth will kill them. Good luck.

Hi Carla. You can use diatomaceous earth. It is crushed coral and shells. Any insect with a exoskeleton gets cuts from it causing them to dehydrate and die.
Lemon Pledge..they do not like citrus. You can spray it around the edges or just cut up a lemon in small pieces and they will go away/
