Try planting marigold around them, they don't like the smell!
You can also sprinkle soap shavings nearby- they get one mouthful and turn the other way- best of luck!!
Hostas are their fave food from the garden! I spray mine with a 1/2 & 1/2 mix of hot peper sauce and water and spray it on. Respray after a heavy dew or rain.
A mix of 50/50 hot sauce and water. Hostas are one of their fave treats!
Deer do not like sage, plant some of that with your hostas.
