Hi Rafaela, Here's a link that may help: https://www.mnn.com/your-home/at-home/blogs/13-natural-remedies-for-the-ant-invasion
Good luck!
Corn meal. This works because ants are attracted to corn meal and treat it as food, but they can't actually digest it, causing them to slowly starve. It won't kill a colony as quickly as poison, but it's incredibly cheap, and completely safe to use in a house with pets or small children.
If you use Terro (not natural) and leave dead ants out they take them back to the nest and poison the rest. Gone in 2-3 days for the year.
This works wonders. I followed the advice of someone online whose apartment was overrun with ants, and I'm glad I did. Liquid Ant Baits for Indoors and Outdoors | TERRO®
I've used diatomaceous earth, but the results were poor, same with cinnamon. Stick to Terro products, they are safe for humans.
I have five dogs and lots of other critters that inhabit our space. I use sweetened down bread and muffin mixes that come in the envelopes and are cheap. It may take a few applications, depending on how big the mound actually is underground, but it does work for me and is safe for humans and critters and bees. They like the sweet, take it back to the mound, they all eat it, but can't digest it and the mound dies. Just keep applying until the are gone. I just killed a neighbors huge mound of medium sized ants for her and it took about five applications, but there were an awful lot of ants in this mound. I hope this helps you Rafaela!
Hi Rafaela - This is the most effective method that we use and it's all natural. Good luck! Hugs, Holly

I had used corn meal and it worked!!!
Go with the Jiffy cornmeal mix-unbaked-its cheap and fast. Use it outside where they are coming in, usually the kitchen area. Just take it in your hand and sprinkle it around where they are. They love it and take it home to the colony. 1-2 days and they will be gone.
