Egg shells. pop them in the microwave for a minute to dry them out, chop them fine in a blender and sprinkle around the base of your plants. No chemicals and it works just as well as the diatomaceous earth. The shells will cut the bodies of any insects crawling over them. I save my egg shells all winter for just this purpose.
