What is the best way to get rid of ant hills?

We have an ant hill about 12" across.

    I pour a kettle of boiling water on the hill

    Bait to kill queen. Kill her and the hive dies.

    I sprinkle cornmeal on their mound. They feed the cornmeal to the queen she eats it swells up boom 💥 no more queen no more hive.

    A natural way is for a large hill poor a lot of slat on the hill. If your getting them in the house spread a reason around where they r coming in at. Seen this on Pinterest. Told my friend and she tried it by here door and window sill. No more ants!!!
