What is the best weed control for my shrub beds.

Would like to keep weeds in control without having to keep re-applying.

You cannot use any chemicals to remove the weeds. Pull them out and you can try a weed preventative such as preen

Once you pull the weeds, lay down old newspapers or landscape fabric and cover with thick layer of mulch.

You might like landscape cloth with a good bed of mulch over it. As the mulch breaks down, some weeds will pop up but are easy to pull as their roots have not had the opportunity to go deep.

1 Gal White Vinegar, 2 c Epsom Salts, 1/4 c Dawn Dish Soap (Blue) Put into a gallon sprayer or divide recipe to make smaller portion. This will not harm pets or animals. Yes it works. Check Pinterest for more.
