What plants deter mosquitoes?

Mints, lavender, most herbs, marigolds, lemongrass, citronella, lemon balm.

don't know about plants but taking B Complex vitamin will deter bites. I haven't been bitten in about 4 yrs

Citronella geraniums do help with deterring the the pesky mosquitoes. We put them around our pool and they helped. What Evelyn McMullen wrote about taking Vitamin B really helps with the bites. I take Vitamin B6 and it helps with not getting the bites.

I found a "mosquito" plant that smells like citronella at Home Depot last summer. Didn't know they existed but tried it and it worked just fine on my porch. MaggieMay
