What’s an safe, healthy, affordable way of keeping peksy bugs away?

I have a condo in a huge complex and I can’t afford a proffeshional pest contol company to service my place on a monthly basis. I recently discovered silver fish which I find totally discusting. I am a very clean and tighty person so I don’t know what to do. I think the whole complex has this problem. Can you help?

try peppermint oil put it on cottonballs and spread them throughout the house.
I can recommend a chemical product that works both indoors and outdoors that professionals use. It is called BIFEN I/T.
It comes in a concentrate that you have to dilute with water and put in a pressure sprayer.
I’m on my second multiuse bottle. My son uses it as well.

Sadly it will be many uses as its a concentrated solution thats mixed up prior to use. Its quite economical considering what one professional application would cost if you're comfortable handing chemicals.
