What's the most organic effective way to get rid of crabgrass ??

    i understand you can use white vinegar.

    no white vinegar will kill the grass. The only way to control the crab grass is using Orthos Crab grass control and follow the five step fertilization program.

  • If you use vinegar, you will need to amend the soil before replanting. You can use epsom salt and boiling water too if the patches are small enough.

    Crabgrass really needs to be pulled up by the base to get the root and all. While vinegar doesnt kill my grass, it wasnt incredibly effect against crabgrass. Organic= elbow grease. There are over the counter organic fertilzer plus weed killer, but I cannot tell you if they are worth the price or not.

    Boiling water and vinegar unless it's a massive issue, in which case, I would recommend a chemical solution
