Tear out the grass, put in a vegetable garden. Give him a small area in the back that you let go wild and he'll be perfectly happy.

I have two dogs on a very small yard, no problems. Try hosing the grass where they go, also additives at pet store for their food.

It has to do with what your feeding him. The food causes his body to be slightly acidic so when he pee's it burns the lawn. You could try simply changing his food.

Sprinkle red pepper on the lawn. A few sniffs and he should stay away. May need to do this a few times till he learns.

Try giving him a vitamin c pill every day. I have two females and it has worked on my yards for 6 years I cut it in half and hide it in pieces of cheap hot dogs.
