Shaker Bottle Fruit Fly Trap

Use an empty shaker bottle to create a fruit fly trap. Those pesky fruit flies can't resist the homemade bait and can't escape the shaker top.
Use a shaker bottle to create a fruit fly trap.
Those pesky flies love Apple Cider Vinegar or regular vinegar and diced apples.
The little holes in the shaker bottle cap are perfect for attracting the fruit flies and trapping them inside the bottle.
A cute label completes the trap.

@Cathy Murphy my shaker bottle was originally a vinegar bottle. I think it was white wine vinegar. Salad dressings also come in shaker bottles. Hope you find one!

Or buy a Venus fly trap! For ants, sprinkle cayenne pepper and brush into the cracks and crevices. Then don't get all neat on me and vacuum it up--just leave it there in the corners.
