We had a pond put in right after we moved in. It was a mess was hard to keep clean, over flowed often. Was not very pretty. So my husband said let’s have a new guy come and see if they can fix it. Was our best move yet.
The flowers are not filled out yet but such a beautiful pond.
when they tore out the old pond I asked them to save me all the flat flagstone and about 10 Mini boulders. I got busy and made it all come together after the guys were done.
I am placing all the flat stones in the rocks for easier walking around the pond.
some of these were heavy , but they aren’t going anywhere. It’s filling in nicely. In the Florida heat , it took me a couple weeks to finish this project. But I’m so happy with it. My husband brags about it so he must like it too.
This is a drain, that the pond flows into if it over fills and if the yard gets too much water, it flows to this drain. I have enough stone to go all the way behind the pond.
This is the back of the pond, just enough room to walk behind to keep it maintained.
Ten boulders ?
think the guys lost count. There are more than ten Boulder there. But I’m happy how the yard has come together. Not sure the cost as the rocks and all were left over from the first pond.
This extended our patio area. More room to sit and enjoy the pond.
Another view of the extended patio.
Our beautiful pond. The fish have much more room to swim around in.
