Adding barn wood to cement well culvert- any suggestions?

please help anyone. I want to add barn wood cut about 4 a 8 inches wide to our old farm well. See photo below.
Years ago, a cement type culvert was installed over top and a hand pump installed - it works great and we want to keep it but pretty it up a bit . Since it would be difficult to nail the wood to the cement, would glue of some sort work or is there some type of strapping material that would bend enough to be used to screw/nail the 4 foot boards. Would flex glue as seen on TV work ?

Exterior glue that is waterproof would be good to use and add some rope or bands of metal to add a country style look. It will look great when done!
what if you got 2 either round rings, or make a sq. one for top and bottom. nail the barn brds. to it. then slip it over the well. do it the height of the well if you want the pump to show. then stain it or use water resist over it. if you make it the same height then you wont have alot of leaves ect. inside it in the fall.

I would lean more towards an old wooden bucket the kind that are held together with two metal straps. I would use two one directly on top of the other and used the bottom with hinges to cover the top but still allow access.
Gorilla glue makes a glue for putting items together on concrete. The ring around the wood is a good suggestion too as it will make the boards more stable but be sure you buy the strapping that is stainless steel or it will rust in no time.
I love your idea. I would try to find metal bands, like the ones used for barrels. Please share when you are done.
Exterior masonry adhesive. Comes in large tubes that you put in a caulking gun. Sometimes called landscaping adhesive. It takes 24 hours to set up so use rope, belts, etc to keep the wood in place until it cures. Good luck.
