How can I build a deck inexpensively

Please can anyone tell me how to build a deck on the back inexpensively? I only have my pension and want to have in the morning my coffee on a veranda or deck. It only has to be 5 steps down, 3m long, 2m, and white.

If you can build it yourself, there are a lot of plans on the web. Also consider your local building codes. It's always cheaper to build it yourself!

Every now and again I see folks selling off their decks here in the states. Generally they seem to be planning an addition and the old deck has to go. Do you have craigslist down under?

Go to www.1001pallets and you will find a million ideas. Many places give away their unwanted pallets and will save you a ton of money!
