What's your favorite color? Paint the door that! :) You could also add some planter boxes beside the door.

Hello. Is your main entrance on the same side? It might be inviting to have a new door color some planters, possibly a wreath if it will not compete with your front door entry.

Since the door isn't used, why not just clean up/decorate the area by building some hinged door containers to house the garbage can and other items? Paint them aand the door you DO use a nice color that makes you happy. Storage area below and perhaps colorful flowering plants in a recessed area on the top and leave the unused door as is so as not to attract attention to it.

  • I would put a planter on either side with colorful flowers for each season.

Which door is the main entrance to the home?

Instead of spending time and money trying to 'make over' the unused garage door, I would suggest to put efforts into enhancing the appearance of the door that is used most frequently as an entry, so that it is identified.

How about a colorful seasonal wreath?

I would paint it red, navy blue or forest green. A dark color that stands out. Then I would put flower boxes between the two doors or two sconces one on each side. Hang a beautiful holiday wreath on the door, change for the seasons.

Do you use the other door? If so, I would focus on that one. Paint it a nice color, yes add a few flower pots.

Let the "unused" door pretty much blend in to the rest of the house. That way, the door you do use pops so visitors will naturally gravitate towards that door.
