How can I convert my carport into a She-shed?
I have an old carport that is just being used for storage. I would like a decent hang out area for friends. what do I need to know?

First consider where you live - do you have cold winters? Would this be a 3 or 4 season space?
Check if you need a building permit from your town to enclose the carport. Depending on your weather, insulation and vapor barrier then drywall or panelling to finish off the walls and ceilings. I am not sure how fancy you want this to be... Do you want to put in French doors where the current opening is?
Depending on your wants, flooring can be laminate or tiles but be sure you have a good subfloor base. Carpet would work, get a commercial type for long wear and not too expensive cost.

Do you need/want to fully enclose it? We live in South Louisiana so it doesn't get super cold too often. We used wide bamboo shades to be able to put up and down if we want. Consider what you want to be able to do in the space and whether you have electricity, etc. readily accessible.
